Just the house (3bed+loft)- Our main listing includes 2 additional bunk rooms above the garage & sleeps 16+. 10 acres of timber-lined property. Keep an eye out for Moose and wildlife by the creek in the back meadow. Relax after a day of hiking or skiing (at nearby Breckenridge, Copper, or Keystone) by soaking in the hot tub and gazing at the Milky Way. Watch the sunrise over Pikes Peak or take a trip to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. Challenge your family to a game of Pool or build a puzzle.
Good to know
All 3 bedrooms have Ensuite bathrooms. Heated floors and a whole home surround sound system. Be sure to check out the hot tub at night with all the inside lights off - you'll likely see shooting stars. There are 2 Queen beds (sleeps 4) and 2 King beds (sleeps 4). A queen floor-mattress with bedding provided as well as a pack n play with mattress for infants. The home is at 11,000ft elevation. We recommend everyone use the oxygen concentrator for 5-10mins when arriving at the home. Even if you live in Denver or if you've been to the mountains before, the extra elevation makes a difference, especially when sleeping. Other Details to Note
Our home is at 11,000 ft elevation. Even if you've been to the mountains frequently - sleeping at 11,000 ft is VERY different than 9,500 (Breckenridge) - you will need to prepare for altitude sickness. We provide an oxygen concentration machine, that we recommend everyone uses upon arrival for 5-10 mins. All guests must have an AWD vehicle to access the home Nov-April, no refunds given if you get stuck in the snow. Our driveway is plowed if more than 6" accumulate overnight. If snow starts later in the day, you will not be plowed until the following day. It's $200 additional for an "emergency plow". We recommend a private rental with TURO - if you rent through a rental company, you risk not getting an AWD vehicle and not being able to access the home. Pet fee of $150 applied for up to 2 pets/stay. Additional pets must be approved and will be $50/pet additional. We are in a rural area, despite our best efforts you may have an occasional pest sneak in.
